Stone/Concrete Decking

To make truly comfortable living and entertaining spaces a part of your landscaping, patios and walkways are a must. And when it comes to building decking for your outdoor space, there’s no better option than stone.

Patios, walkways, and pool surfaces made from stone and concrete are a staple in any outdoor space. When properly installed, these features will last a long time with little to no maintenance required outside of extreme circumstances. In addition, these materials naturally complement the vibrant colors present in landscaping; so selecting the right kinds for your space can greatly enhance its aesthetics.

At Cashman Landscape Management and Design, we have years of experience designing and building all manners of stone and concrete decking. Using dry laid or wet laid material, Cashman can create walkways, patios, pool decks, and driveways using pavers or natural stone.

With the introduction of concrete pavers, dry laid materials have become very popular over the years. This is because this type of decking moves the freezing and thawing cycle of the winter season, leaving only minor repairs in even the worst cases. Because of this, dry laid is generally the option of choice for walkways and driveways.

Wet laid applications, on the other hand, are best used for the foundations of raised patios or gunite pools. The sleek and smooth surface of this classic application type is the perfect compliment to these kinds of fixtures and is sure to turn heads when applied to them. This application utilizes a foundation of set and mortared concrete slabs reinforced with rebar for added strength and durability.
