Have a large landscaping project or redesign in mind, but are worried about the bill being even larger? If so, then transplanting from Cashman Land Management and Design may be just what you need.
What exactly is transplanting? In the context of landscaping, transplanting is the act of uprooting existing mature plants and then replanting them elsewhere. The original location of these plants will vary depending on location, needs, and design and can come either from on-site or plants incorporated from different sites. Creating and updating your planting this way can save you up to thousands of dollars on your landscaping.
No matter the size or the scope, we’re equipped to handle your transplanting needs. We drum lace transplants with high grade and hearty burlap and string to ensure security when moving even the largest of plants. Then, once the plants arrive on site, our machine-operated spades ensure they’re planted quickly and planted well.
Through our combination of equipment and know-how, Cashman has been involved in numerous large-scale transplants of trees, shrubs, and other large plantings. The largest of our transplanting jobs was a 37’ by 42’ Japanese maple for a client approximately that was transported 15 miles from Harding to Florham Park, NJ. And most recently, we successfully transplanted twelve 7-9” caliper kwanzan cherry trees on site at Jersey City Medical Center.
